The Association will be conducting the 2017 HOPA survey in July and August. The HOPA survey is required by Federal law to be completed by all residents every two years. The 1995 Housing for Older Persons Act (HOPA) Section 100.307 requires the Association to obtain proof of age.
In 2015, we had a number of teenagers/students walk door-to-door to survey our residents as we are required to have 100% participation. Additionally this year, the survey form is included in the Trustees’ Corner and well as on this web site. Call the Association Office if you need assistance in completing the survey.
Required information includes a list of residents, contact information, identification* for each resident, emergency contacts, pet and vehicle information. Download the survey HOPA Form on the survey page and return to the Association Office, with a copy of your identification, by September 1, 2017.
